The 13th Wolf Guards hail from Mech Warrior. A core group of members came from this game, including Ruckis, Halo, Fear, Fordbum, Archon and others. 13th is accounted one of the best fighting guilds in Alpha based on past performances. 13th is currently second in fleet and level on Alpha.

13th was formed by members who left CLS. Recruiting on a limited scale early after it's formation gave 13th some of it's most prolific members.

13th rarely enters the fray of Alpha politics, instead relying on themselves to deal with problems. 13th has changed this as of late with a Bloodpact with CoRM as well as BORG. Many speculate this is a move to forcefully relieve the tension between Trinity and Borg. 13th has strong ties with AzTEC stemming from a friendship that began from the start of both guilds. Recently, Khelben Ferrari saw fit to remove 13th from the list of friends in the AzTEC guildpage, prompting speculation about current ties.
[edit] Command Structure and Ranks
13th is run on the basis of a strict military meritocracy. Rank is earned by achieving high level as well as a high amount of experience. Ruckis is the General, the undisputed leader of 13th. His direct subordinates are Colonels, who are outside the ranking system of level and experience. Anyone of enough stature within the guild can be a Colonel. Following Colonel, the ranks are as such: Lt.Colonel Major Captain Lieutenant Sergeant Private
The Warrior rank is given to members of The 7th Eagle Corps while they are in 13th

13th possesses some of Alpha's most well-known players. Ruckis, Halo, and others are often in the fore of Politics and combat.
Recently, recruiting has been open to a very limited number of players. Minimum level of 65 and sufficient experience and activity is required. Knowing someone in the guild is also important.
