Trinity is by definition a composition of guilds. As such it is a non-permanent guild and is only created on occasion for either war or social contact between Trinity's member guilds, the latter of which has only occurred conveniently just prior to one of the largest wars in Alpha's history. Trinity has only ever been created twice. The first time Trinity formed the member guilds were
¤ Realms of Essµr and Yales ¤, ¤ Allies of Essµr ¤, and the Dark Templars. After Trinity disbanded the first time DT merged into EeY. Upon the second formation of Trinity the currently existing member guilds were ¤ Realms of Essµr and Yales ¤, ¤ Allies of Essµr ¤, and Respect is Power. Customarily the GM of Trinity is a well respected member who is not the GM of any of the member guilds.
History
The original Trinity was made mostly of three guilds, [¤EeY¤], [¤AoE¤] and [DT]. However, in its most recent formation, the third guild involved was [R.I.P], due to [DT] not being in existence. Trinity is a highly influential guild, and is involved in some of the major events on the Alpha server. When all three guilds are together in one, Trinity is a well-oiled machine, with all players working together. The leader of Trinity is usually a respected player among the three guilds as opposed to one of the leaders of the individual guilds. Currently, the leader is no stress, but Wraith was the leader for most of the war against [BORG].
Trinity's Elite Players
Trinity has a 15 of the top 100 players in Alpha, such as Scortwych, no stress, Diskor and Qµeen Kristinne. Trinity is known for having some of the largest (in reality not much more or less than any top 10 guild) averages for fleet, economy and technology on the whole of the alpha server, just after BORG. It is unusual not to see at least one player from one of the guilds that make up [-III-] in the top five rankings in each category. This is another example of written inter-copulation from Trinity. In fact Trinity does not have a disproportionately large number of players in the top 5 of any category.
Recent Wars
The first Trinity war
Also in that period the Dark Templars [DT] were reformed and encouraged to share entity with [¤EeY¤] and [¤AoE¤] in what was known as the Trinity. Later, the BORG and the Trinity went to war against the Celestial Horizon [CLS] alliance starting the first server war. In that process [¤EeY¤], [¤AoE¤] and [DT] merged in one same banner.
Allies of Essµr fought against the odds in medium galaxies until the intervention of the Imperium [IMP]. Finally the Trinity and the BORG won the war against more than 9 guilds achieving a major change in the server.
After the first server war each wing returned to their original tag.
On a side note and during the server war, Mordor [«o»] declared against the New Planetary Order [NPO] (previously known as the Imperium) after they went to peace and changed leadership, and the Trinity joined NPO's side and the coalition achieved Mordor to surrender in 3 days.
The second Trinity war
Due to differences between the New Planetary Order and the Rainbow Llamas they went to war, where more guilds added to each side. Also, the BORG wrote a forum poll on who they should declare next, mentioning their allies or friends such as the Trinity and the Confederation of the Red Moon, and they eventually selected the New Planetary Order and the Luenar Empire, two guilds already at war plus smaller targets like Clan Ghost Bear [CGB] and AEGIS [« Æ »] which together exceeded BORG's total fleet strength. Such facts plus the already damaged relation between the Trinity and the BORG and other reasons given at that time lead the start of the second server war where the Trinity and BORG finally fought each other.
For the war purpose the Trinity invited the guild Respect is Power [RIP] to join the ranks and to fight in the new war and they agreed, allowing the banner to share 3 different tags again.
The second server war developed in 4 stages,
I) The guilds started by making high hits in several fronts, the Trinity dominated certain galaxies such as A00-01, A11-15 and A25-29 while the BORG took the initiative in A02-03, A18-19 and A29. Then, both guilds proceeded to slowly gather in low galaxies and the BORG called their first bloodpact to join their side, the Octopus Battlelords [OOBL].
II) The Trinity hunted the Octopi in medium galaxies causing them to emigrate to the A30's where they fought the Minbari Federation [-Min-]. Once and with a higher Trinity and BORG concentration in low galaxies, the BORG called their second bloodpact, The Clan Mac Datho [•CMD•], despite the warns from the Confederation of the Red Moon to not to, causing them to declare against the BORG and to take their gather point in A29.
III) The BORG decided to call Mordor to finally enter the war and to take the Trinity Jumpgate in A01. At the same time the Confederation of the Red Moon moved as well to low galaxies in silence near the Trinity Jumpgate. In order to to execute such hard attack the BORG and Mordor merged to create the Dark Coalition Forces [DCF] and moved towards the Trinity Jumpgate, in coordination with Clan Mac Datho, and attacked in the battle that was later known as the Hall of Chosen Battle where millions of fleets were destroyed. When the fight was already advanced the Confederation of the Red Moon moved towards the jumpgate and caused the enemy front to retreat to later be hunted in their jumpgates. After the Hall of Chosen Battle Mordor surrendered and left the war.
IV) When Mordor left the war the Trinity and the Confederation of the Red Moon moved through low galaxies and took several fleets gathered there. Then, Clan mac Datho and Trinity achieved white peace and eventually the same happened with the Octopus BattleLords and SHIELD, leaving the BORG fighting the Trinity coalition alone. At the end the BORG surrendered and the second server war ended.
In this period Allies of Essµr fought continuously in medium galaxies until the forces gathered in A00-01. During the Hall of Chosen Battle several members lost their entire fleets leading to a passive response in the next weeks.
Even though that the Trinity coalition won the war and was finally at peace the affair was far from over, point proved later by the BORG actions towards the server that would encourage the Third server war, The War of Hate.
The third Trinity war, The War of Hate
After the BORG surrendered in the last war, the server went to a brief state of peace and the Trinity wings returned to their original tags.
When Allies of Essµr demerged and because of the complexity of the last war, Khelben Ferrari renamed the tag to Aztec [AzTEC] to symbolise the maturity achieved by the guild members and the strength reflected in the high averages the guild showed in ranks.
And after months of constant insults and forum harassment the Confederation of the Red Moon declared war against the Rainbow Llamas, an issue the BORG used to align several guilds, 13th included, to execute their vindictive plans against all guilds that won the last war, and that is how each one of the Trinity wings and friends were engaged separately by different guilds under hard odds.
Not long after the CoRM vs. RL war started, BORG declared on the 13th Wolf Guards giving them a week of notice before the war would start. While many, after the fact, think this was a fake declaration, it was in fact a true declaration. [RL] Saruman broached the idea to BORG and 13th about attacking CoRM instead and using their declaration as an excuse to build up forces to attack CoRM. BORG took this idea and went to Mordor, OO/OOBL, Odd and other guilds to start a new server war against CoRM, Trinity, NPO and their allies. Mordor then made a 'fake' declaration against the Octopus Overlords to allow them to build up forces to prepare for their strikes against the CoRM/Trinity coalition. And so when the declaration deadlines came, they all started to attack the CoRM/Trinity coalition causing the third server war to begin, 'The War of Hate'.
The Trinity was reformed with the merge of the Realms of Essµr and Yales, The AzTEC, Respect is Power and Shadow Company [??] (Aztec protectorate) to face Mordor, The Odd Brotherhood [Odd], The Knights of the Ni [Ni] and the Odd war wing [:Odd:]...
But this war is still being written.
