Changes to PlayEdit

All of these changes will apply ONLY to new servers.

Fleet Maintenance

A soft cap to fleet size, this is a game balance feature that allows servers to stay competitive more time and allows better comeback to players that lost fleet. Fleet size that don't pay maintenance = Economy^1.6+(Economy/100)^3.2

Commanders boost

Initial cost reduced from 25xp to 20xp. Level costs reduced from 2x (previous cost) to 1.5x.

Home Planet status

The initial base gets a construction boost of 40 instead of 20. If the initial base its disbanded, the second base will get this boost.

New Bases cost

Cost of new bases increased to 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, ...

from 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, ...

Guilds size

Maximum members reduced from 250 to 200.


These will be available on ALL servers, both existing and new.

Energy: +12
Population: -1
Area: 0
Advanced structure

This structure makes a combo with other orbital structures that don’t require area and also with the new technology Anti-Gravity to allow bases to develop a little more later on.

New Layout

A graphic display of the base's improvements. It is not clear if this will replace an existing layout or be an additional option for display.
